Optics - Camera and Eye

    Nearsighted eye - eyeball too long, so images form in front of retina (myopia)

    Farsighted eye - eyeball too short, so images form "behind" retina (hyperopia)

  3. Nearsighted eyes require concave lenses - this spreads the light out a bit before hitting the actual lens. (-f length)

    Farsighted eyes require convex lenses - this converges the light a bit before hitting the actual lens. (+f length)
